He has a background in both business and engineering management but spends non-work time playing with new technology (especially Rust). Kushal has mentored at hackathons and lean startup initiatives at a UK university, in the area of lean product development. He is currently VP of Product at Keyrock after having spent the last few years leading Keyrock’s Algo Engineering (Rust) team. He believes both leadership and software engineering are crafts that take dedication, empathy, and time, to develop - and brings this view to any organisation he works with, towards making workplaces better for all people. Maxim is a Founder and CTO of Superchain Network building core Web3 infrastructure. He has 18 years experience and has worked on a number of blockchain projects since 2016: Hyperledger, Bitcoin, Stella and Ethereum. Previously, a Lead Engineer at an Innovation Lab in Finance.

Max will also deliver a workshop during the hackathon on the topic of Foundry - a reimplementation of dapp.tools, a command line application and smart contract libraries for the EVM - written entirely in Rust.
